Commentary
This group on the Kenosha County Courthouse steps voiced prayers of thanks on Palm Sunday for President Kennedy's order the day before making public housing money available to Kenosha. The group are representatives of black families that faced eviction. They have been assured by Kenosha Mayor Eugene R. Hammond that no family will be put onto the street. Their wartime housing project was purchased by American Motors Corp. for a parking lot.
