Edward Simmons, acting Dean of the graduate school and assistant to the Vice President for Academic Affairs at Marquette University in Milwaukee, talks to students in the union grill. The administration said it would not bow to student demands that they immediately hire a full-time black staff recruiter and scholarship coordinator.
